From 2015-2017, I criss-crossed North America visiting letterpress print shops. The only thing I brought with me was paper, ink, and the clothes on my back. The Itinerant Printer is the story of years on the road, the people I met along the way, and the prints that I made in their shops.

The Buffalo Small Press Book Fair was a regional two-day event that brought together booksellers, authors, bookmakers, zinesters, small presses, artists, poets, and other cultural workers (and enthusiasts) in a venue where they could share ideas, showcase their art, and peddle their wares. I conceived and executed it with friend Kevin Thurston, and it ran from 2007-2016.

As one of the earliest members of the Western New York Book Arts Center and Studio Director from 2008-2014, I helped establish a nationally-recognized non-profit dedicated to preserving the book arts through collaboration and innovation.

  • The Interrobang‽ watch was designed in collaboration with Mr. Jones Watches in London in 2021. The minute hand is an exclamation mark and the hour hand is a question mark, and when they converge, they form the eponymous interrobang.
