RELEASE is a project by visual artist Kate Parzych and Chris Fritton.

The result of the collaboration is a small, handmade, bi-fold book that features an actual cyanotype made by Parzych, and a hand-set, letterpress-printed poem by Fritton. The poem, in a few short stanzas, tackles the ephemerality of memory, the mechanics of the mind, and the place of memory in the heart. The object itself is a testament to the senses, crafted on thick stock paper, with the handcrafted poem peeking from beneath the deep cobalt of a “blueprint.”
